     Being the one of top ten reservoirs, the total reservation capacity of Gaozhou reservoirs exceeds 1.5billion m3. The drinking water supplying capacity of urban districtis 60000 ton/day, there are 310 water power stations, its installlec power generation capacity is over 130000 KW.      Mineral resources

	There are 50 kinds mineral resources and 310 mineral deposits. There are 20 kinds nonmetal mineral as coal, oil shale and kaolin, The nonferrous metal exceeds 20 kinds such as gold, silver and iron. There are 10 bigger mineral deposits.

 

     Agricultural resources

     Being the bases of top ten agricultural commercial production, such as East Litchi, West Longan , Middle banana and North huanglan and so on . The total area for fruit planting exceeds 170,0000 mu, the output is more than 80,0000ton. The bases of vegetable to North which exceeds 20,0000 mu, 35,0000 pigs’ production, the quality fish which exceeds 16,0000 mu, 35 millions chicken all have been found.

It locates in the middle of Gaozhou and Maoming, the southern oil city. It was promised to found by Guangdong province in 1992,total developing area is 22 km2 ,100 enterprises have been set up.

It is beside with the Jinshan economic development experliment zone ,with a area of 1000 mu .It is mainly to develpt high-tech industry which mainly in electron.
